Regarding the lifting of the ban in 2026

Announcement of the opening of the mountain stream fishing ban in 2026.


We created a flyer to coincide with the lifting of the ban.

Please take a look.


As stated in the flyer, Oku-Eigenji boasts one of the largest discharge volumes in Japan, and we look forward to your visit.

Approximately 2 tons of adult Iwana, Amago, and Rainbow trout have been released, along with approximately 100,000 Iwana and Amago fry.


The upcoming events are scheduled as follows:

Mountain stream fishing season begins: March 28th (Saturday)

Mountain stream fishing class: mid-April

Ayu fishing season begins: Saturday, June 27th

Ayu fishing tournament: mid-July

2nd Mountain Stream Festival: Around November


The diverse river environment is an attraction that can be enjoyed by beginners, families, and experts alike.

Please note that a fishing license is required for mountain stream fishing, so please be sure to purchase one at the appropriate store.


The sales are scheduled as follows:

March 1st: Advance sale of annual passes by mail

[Details] Advance mail sales are 6,000 yen by registered mail. Required information (address, name, date of birth, phone number, car license plate number, 3cm x 2.4cm photo, 140 yen worth of return postage) is required.


March 8th: Pre-sale at stores (Roadside Station Okueigenji Keiryu no Sato, Ikeda Fish Farm)

March 28: General sales begin
